Today I worked on a short story idea. I started this little project about two years ago and shared it with a few coworkers back in the Air Force. They seemed to have enjoyed it, so I sent it to my editor, who of course tore it apart. She (my editor) has a wonderful way of telling me that I keep missing the same things over, and over, and over... and over... without hurting my feelings. Now... it has been about a year since I've even looked at this project, so today, I opened it up and set to fixing it.
This is where the dilemma is. I just recently "transitioned" from full time to part time employment, so funds are getting low. Do I want to take a chance and submit the story for potential funds? Or, should I post it here for your reading pleasure? Perhaps there is a third option... one that will satisfy both? How about this: send an email to ajopresents@gmail.com with "tMail" in the Subject line, I will reply and send you a PDF of my short story titled tMail. AND, since the story hasn't been published, I will still submit it to a rag for publication and potential payment. Its a win-win situation, right? Have a great weekend! ~AJ Comments are closed.
