Living Histories & Color-Torn Magic
The Realm of Reality is a place where magic seeps through seams in the world— through spinning braids of color, old temples, forgotten oaths, and people who were never meant to touch power at all. This codex gathers fragments of that story: the Rainbow Braid, the art of Spellweaving, the rise of the Temple of Sorcery, and the lives caught in between.
Magic
- The Rainbow Braid — A living axis of color and energy spinning through the world, throwing loose strands of magic into every corner of Reality.
- Spellweaving — The dangerous art of drawing those loose colors together and forcing them into deliberate patterns, using the body and will as a living loom.
- Temple of Sorcery — Primary records remain fragmented; ongoing expeditions to Orielle seek surviving texts of the Temple. The faithful scholars labor to restore its teachings, where divine devotion and living color once converged.
Featured: Spellweaving
Spellweaving begins when a person learns to see the Braid without looking directly at it—falling into a waking-dream state where colors drift near and reality is soft enough to shape. Weavers lure those threads close with their inner magic, then bend them into forms with breath, focus, and motion.
Beginners stain themselves. Masters rewrite the room.
People
- Bargiss Vandelin — A devoted spellweaver and founder of the Temple of Sorcery in Orielle, trying to build a sanctuary of color and faith in a world still haunted by his family’s past.
- Zariah Everleaf — A Wood Elf assassin bound to two panthers, Soda and Ados. Raised amid the war-torn First Forest and driven into exile, she now walks the shadows of Talonus with quiet resolve and a storm at her back.
History
- The Racial War Saga — A conflict that reshaped borders, toppled kingdoms, and left cracks in Reality that magic still bleeds through. Awakenings is only one account of what happened—and why nothing in the Realm has been the same since.
