Bargiss Vandelin

Bargiss is the youngest son of Bahlistel and Orielle Vandelin. His mother, Orielle, was a devoted follower of the goddess D'Aryasia and a loving, doting presence in his life. In contrast, his father, Bahlistel, was an ambitious and single-minded man, obsessed with mastering the Rainbow Braid—a powerful source of magical energy—in all its vibrant glory. Unknown to most, Bahlistel secretly worshipped the god Kargonis, a fact that would shadow the family’s journey.
The Vandelins were wanderers, traveling far and wide and inevitably making enemies along the way. Eventually, they sought refuge in the First Forest, where Bargiss was born. However, peace was short-lived. The family found themselves caught in the brutal war between the Wood Elves and the Fialt, suffering immense losses. Bargiss and a small group of allies fought valiantly, but only a handful survived to escape the chaos and search for a new beginning.
Despite the hardships, Bargiss grew into a skilled spellweaver, inheriting his mother’s deep devotion to D'Aryasia. In southern Talonus, he established the hamlet of Orielle, named in honor of his late mother, and founded the Temple of Sorcery. There, he teaches the art of Spellweaving and inspires faith in D’Aryasia, striving to create a sanctuary of magic and hope amidst a turbulent world.
